The emperor orders Zeronis to lead his troops to the front lines to save the empire from an impending war. Ripley refuses to wait for her beloved to return alive, so they hold a private ceremony to tie the knot post-haste.
Just as Ripley tries to revive her failing business, Prince Sharman approaches her with the promise of purchasing a large quantity of her magical ointment. But his scheme to win Ripley's heart only starts an ugly rumor about her.
Meanwhile, the shocking news of Zeronis' death reaches Ripley, but she refuses to believe he's been killed on the battlefield. Prince Sharman pays an opportune visit with sinister motives.
