The spring ball is under attack! Bjork--a tragic young man the Dark One is controlling like a puppet--is wreaking havoc, and Luciana takes the full force of the Dark One’s strike. However, to everyone’s surprise, she is completely unharmed! Even stranger, the magic of the fully awakened Silver Saint has wrapped itself around Bjork's sword. Christopher and Anna-Marie use what they remember from their past lives to fight back against Bjork, but everything now rides on Melody, who is back at the Rudleberg estate, cheerfully and obliviously seeing to her maid duties!
